ABOUT

OUR Story

For over 20 years, I have worked with children and families facing some of the darkest and most challenging moments of their lives. What I have learned is that there is "no one size fits all" to coping - and personalizing care to meet individual needs is paramount.

I am the Mother of three children, ages 10, 13 and 16. Our middle daughter, was diagnosed 8 years ago, with a rare auto-inflammatory condition called CRMO. It turned our lives upside down. My professional and personal worlds collided. All I could do was watch, as each of us was blindsided in ways we were not prepared for. Over the years, I have seen how the trauma has taken different shapes in all of us - it comes at different times, in different ways - no less difficult, but maybe a little more manageable.

It continues to be a learning process - a process of doing and undoing. Sitting in and with the uncomfortable - yet, still RISING.

RISING looks different to everyone - maybe it is a dismantling of old coping styles, maybe it is the construction of personal WELL-BEING, maybe it is giving ourselves grace that BEING human can be incredibly hard.

I have made it my mission to do ALL that I can to:

ELEVATE, ENCOURAGE, EDUCATE & EMPOWER each person with whom I work.

What does RISING look like to you? How can you achieve your WELL-BEING?
